Game: RecWar

RecWar, short for Recreational Warfare, is a top-down vehicle blow-em-up. The game has three game modes: Deathmatch, Team War, and Capture the Cow. Deathmatch, of coarse, is an all out free-for-all. Team War is just what it sounds like: A deathmatch with teams. And then there's Capture the Cow, RecWar's version of capture the flag. It's made more interesting by ocassional mooing sounds, for instance when the car carrying the cow explodes. You're given your choice of a tank, hummer or hovercraft with it's own custom paint job. Tanks have exelent health and their turrets can rotate 360 degrees but they move at a painfully slow speed, hummers have average speed and health and hovercrafts are extremely fast but hard to control and have very low health. The type of vehicle you choose depends on what you're trying to do. If you're playing Capture the Cow and you're going to defend the flag a tank would be a good vehicle. But if you're trying to steal the opponit's cow you might want to be a hovercraft. Each vehicle is also equiped with a minigun, particle beam, carpet bomb, auto missle, homing missle, guided missle, plasma and landmines.

Rating

Graphics 

***** - The graphics are all right. I suppose some people might call them bad. They don't add anything to the game but they don't take anything away.

Sound

***** - The  sounds are pretty good too. Lots of nice explosions. It wouldn't hurt if the game had some music but I guess you can run iTunes in the background.

Gameplay

***** - The gameplay is this games strong suite. I like playing Capture the Cow best. Add a friend and about 40 bots on a few different teams and get ready for some cool chaos.

Difficulty

***** - The game is just difficult enough. Sometimes the bots are frusteratingly good but usually it's just right.

Replayability

***** - There are a few different maps to mix it up but theirs really not much else to add to the replayability. But it's so fun as it is you won't care.

OVERALL

Cons: Graphics arn't great. No music.
